ORFS-agent: Tool-Using Agents for Chip Design Optimization을 Best Paper로 명시한다.

8th ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Machine Learning for CAD를 Parnas Hotel Jeju의 in-person 행사로 안내한다.

Reception을 technical Day 1로 세지 않았고, organizer가 공개하지 않은 badge pickup, dress code, guest admission 조건도 추정하지 않았다.

MLCAD 2026 published registration rates after Aug 14
These are official category rates; availability and the final selection remain platform checks. Source: official page. Figure: VLSI Korea.

현재 적용되는 공개 표의 after 2026-08-14 category는 ACM/IEEE member $750, non-member $850, ACM/IEEE student 또는 life member $500, student non-member $650이다.

Program geometry: 3개 technical day, 10개 numbered session

MLCAD 2026 three-day technical program geometry
Official numbered sessions and each day's opening or closing markers are summarized. Source: official page. Figure: VLSI Korea.

Day 1은 2026-09-07 08:30 opening remarks로 시작한다. 08:45 keynote 뒤에 Session 1 LLM-Guided RTL Generation and Optimization, Session 2 RTL Verification & Assertion Generation, Special Session 1 Open-PDKs, Session 3 Hardware Verification & Security, Session 4 LLM Agents for EDA Flows가 이어진다. 마지막 published social block은 18:20-19:50 dinner다.

Day 2는 2026-09-08 08:30 keynote로 시작한다. Session 5 Placement & Routing, Special Session 2 Agentic EDA in Industry, Session 6 Analog & RF Synthesis and Sizing, contest session, poster lightning과 poster block이 배치된다. Program에는 17:00-17:40 poster session과 18:00-19:30 dinner가 있다.

Day 3은 2026-09-09 08:30 award ceremony, 08:35 keynote로 시작한다. Session 7 Physical Design & Manufacturability, Session 8 Analog Design & Benchmarks, Session 9 Timing & Library Optimization, Session 10 HLS & Design Space Exploration을 거쳐 16:10-16:20 closing remarks로 끝난다.

Engineering lane: session title

MLCAD 2026 sessions grouped by engineering reader job
An editorial taxonomy maps official session titles to RTL, physical-design, analog/RF, and timing/DSE jobs. Source: official page. Figure: VLSI Korea.

Placement, rerouting, monolithic 3D routability, multi-die floorplanning, lithography hotspot, pin-access-aware synthesis가 포함된다.

LLM reasoning, Bayesian optimization, graph diffusion, topology generation, netlist generation과 benchmark가 섞인다.

Library characterization, logic synthesis, HLS pragma optimization, RTL debug와 OpenROAD timing strategy가 등장한다.

ChipVerilog: functional pass

Public-paper and artifact reading map. The Spec2Assertion conference-version identity remains unresolved. Sources: linked author materials and the official MLCAD 2026 program. Original diagram: VLSI Korea.

Session 7의 SMUFTA도 Best Paper candidate다.

ResizerAgent: timing repair

Keynote: identity,

MLCAD 2026 published keynote identities and scopes
Organizer-published speaker identities, roles, presentation scopes, and times are preserved. Source: official page. Figure: VLSI Korea.

2026-09-07 08:45 keynote는 AMD Senior Fellow Patrick Groeneveld의 “The Silicon Compiler’s Second Coming: How AI will change Chip Design”다.

2026-09-09 08:35 keynote는 Synopsys VP Thomas Andersen의 agentic chip design이다.

첫 발표는 algorithm boundary, 두 번째는 enterprise design and verification, 세 번째는 long-running agent scope에 초점을 둔다.

Editorial expectations and post-event checks, not confirmed outcomes. Sources: official MLCAD program and linked public papers. Original diagram: VLSI Korea.

MLCAD 2026 venue and airport bus owner check
The interval difference between hotel and airport-owner pages is preserved for a live operator recheck. Source: official page. Figure: VLSI Korea.

Organizer travel page와 official venue page는 Parnas Hotel Jeju를 venue로 확인한다. 주소는 100, Jungmungwangwang-ro 72beon-gil, Seogwipo-si, Jeju-do다.

Flight time, weather와 event demand에 따라 operation이 조정될 수 있다는 venue notice도 있다. 출발 당일 airport 또는 bus operator의 live timetable을 확인해야 하며, 이 글은 travel time, seat, fare, connection과 arrival success를 보장하지 않는다.

MLCAD 2026 attendee verification gates
Recheck registration, program, venue, transport, and access proof before departure. Source: official page. Figure: VLSI Korea.

넷째, Jeju Airport 도착 전에 Bus 600의 live first/last service와 stop을 airport 또는 operator page에서 확인한다.
